Mokka was born and raised in Sierra Vista, AZ where she began her dance training at the age of two.  She received her BFA in Dance, Minors in Communication and Asian Pacific American Studies from Arizona State University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude, and Associates of Arts from Cochise Community College. Over the last decade she has become a Certified Mental Health Ambassador (UDEMY), Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE Fitness), and Pilates Apprentice (Club Pilates).

I am a Kanaka Maoli, Asian American person navigating this world through art, relationships, and community. My work is predominantly movement-based, but I also enjoy working with other forms of visual and performing arts. I am highly influenced by the creative process and exploring the intersectionality of personal storytelling and the world around us.
